Dungeons and Dragons Thursdays
Join us for Dungeons and Dragons and Mouse Guard every second Thursday from 6:00pm – 9:00pm hosted by Nick Miller of Graveck, Martha Megarry of Nice Games Club, and Andy Korth of Howling Moon Software.
Both new and experienced players are welcome. Rules will be taught and materials provided.
Come test your sword and spell against monsters foul and dungeons deep. Curious, but not ready to take the plunge? We welcome spectators, well-wishers, and watchers-on. (Just be courteous and don’t interrupt the game.)
Dungeons and Dragons is run by Nick Miller using 5th Edition with some house rules. Each month features a sandbox campaign. There is no overarching story, so no need to worry about missing out on the plot. You can follow the adventures of the town of Wessex (or add your character’s tales of glory!) on the Obsidian Portal.
Mouse Guard is run by Martha Megarry with some house rules. Each month features a standalone quest that serves an overall story. New players are welcome and will be introduced to the story so far.
In both campaigns, your actions have influence, and can change the worlds for other players. Roll up a first level character, try to survive, gain treasure, and level up. Seats are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. An alternate host will also be on staff to provide a third game if the first two fill up. (And, like we said before, you can always spectate.)
Nick Miller is a total nerd. He has probably been playing D&D for longer than you’ve been alive. He has also probably been lead engineer for various video game companies for half of your life. You are welcome to call him an old man. You are also welcome to join his game table.
Martha Megarry is a web and game programmer and artist. She is currently working on the crab fighting game Claw Breaker and is co-host of the game development podcast Nice Games Club.
Andy Korth is a game developer and software engineer by day.. but by night (well one Thursday a month), he will lead you through an adventure in Erelon!
