Sharon Fischlowitz

Sharon Fischlowitz

Board Chair

Sharon Fischlowitz is a public interest lawyer whose scholarship focuses on the social justice applicability and use of the early medieval legal texts of the barbarians. She received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law and currently practices at the Sussman + Parkhurst firm. Sharon currently serves on the board of the Lexington-Hamline Community Council, and previously on the staffs of Equal Justice Works, the Institute of Advanced Study, Minnesota Justice Foundation, and more.

Stephen Guy

Assistant Board Chair

Stephen is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota. His work on motion planning has been licensed for use in games and virtual environments by Relic Entertainment and Electronic Arts. Stephen received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2012 from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with support from fellowships from Google, Intel, and the UNCF.

Allison Salmon has been a developer in the video game industry for over 15 years. Starting as a software engineer, Allison has worked at companies of all sizes from AAA to tiny indie. She currently works at Flippfly creating PC, mobile, and console games. When not creating games, she spends time knitting and exploring the great outdoors with her husband and two kids.

Andrew Fischer

Andrew Fischer

Board Treasurer

Andrew is the board and card game manager at Fantasy Flight Games, a hobby-market board game publisher centered in Roseville, Minnesota. His team works on app-integrated board games that combine digital and tabletop games in new and exciting ways. Across his career as a game designer, Andrew has worked with companies including Lucasfilm, Bethesda, and Games Workshop.

Stephen is GLITCH’s fearless Community Developer focusing on engagement at GlitchHQ. Stephen is a Co-Founder and Game Designer at Escape Industries, as well as a host on the Nice Games Club podcast.
